Blackwell’s Bookshop at 100 Charing Cross Road WC2H, is hosting the official launch of Gideon’s Angel on 19 February 2013 at 6:30pm. I’ll be having a public chat with Solaris supremo Jonathan Oliver about the background of the book, writing historical fiction cum fantasy, and maybe even a little demo on how to parry an attack by rapier and dagger.
Well…not sure the Blackwell’s team would appreciate the latter taking place next to stocked shelves so that might not actually happen. But if you’re in town, do come along. We’ll be fielding your questions, there could be a surprise or two, and and you’ll be able to snag a signed copy of Gideon’s more than a full week before it actually hits the shops and Amazon. Just email events.london@blackwell.co.uk to book your free place.

Hi Clifford,
Great launch, and some very eloquent responses to Jon’s interview questions. I finished Gideon’s Angel on the way home, and closed it with a very satisfied thump. Good read, well done. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing you at WFC if not before.
